If not, I recommend you go back to W10 until HP releases W11 drivers to your notebook's support page. If it doesn't, see if this driver works instead. Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way. That folder will be located in C:\SWSetups\sp96442. Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

If you did not delete the sp96442 audio driver folder that was created when you ran the file, go to the device manager.Ĭlick on the problem Intel High Definition DSP device listed there.Ĭlick on the driver tab. The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if manually installing the audio driver from the Intel HD audio device works. I keep seeing a yellow exlamation mark next to Intel High Definition DSP in Device Manager. I tried the HP support tips as well as reinstalled Realtek Audio HD drivers, Intel drivers. That category should also have the Realtek HD audio device listed there, and as you can see there is a problem with the Intel HD audio device, which is part of the Realtek audio system. Since couple of weeks I do not have audio nor the laptop can detect any audio device plugged through micro jack. Under the Sound, video and game controllers device manager category, there is only the Nvidia audio device listed.
